37. It is crazy to think that I will be 37 years old the next time the cicadas appear.
Just as fast as they came, now they are gone. The deafening sound has been replaced by the simple chirping of birds. Although the cicadas are gone, they do still live on not only in Baltimore, but the surrounding counties. Thanks to a very cool art collaborative called the Cicada Parade-a by Formstone Castle Collective, these cool works of art have been placed all around Baltimore and the outlying areas. I searched some out some of these pieces myself and let me say they are incredibly cool.
