A change of scenery is good for the soul. I went to the beach.
I am glad that I took a break and finally got to the ocean. The water is my favorite place to be. It might be the last ocean trip for a while, probably until next spring or summer.
The water was pretty cold and there weren't a lot of big waves, which was so nice because I could just float in the ocean. I did see a pretty big sting ray swimming at my feet, which was amazing and enjoyed the most beautiful sunset. I felt so at peace. The salt water was so refreshing. It was so nice to just hear the sound of the waves again.
It's the little things in life that can make your day. For me, it was the ocean.
