I love the warm weather, but honestly there is nothing like a snow day. I especially love the kind of snow that you can use to make snowballs and snowmen. Unfortunately, this snow didn't produce that kind of snow.
Today, Snowstorm Gail dumped around 5 inches of snow where I live! It has now turned to freezing rain, but it is still beautiful outside. I took my dog outside this afternoon and he loved the snow. Actually, he didn't want to come in.
I can’t wait to look outside of my window in the morning and see the snow blanketing the ground and the trees in the daylight.
