My hope is the injustices that we have seen towards the Black community in our society finally come to an end. I will do whatever I can to always help others in the hope of change.
My hope is to continue to inspire others. Continuing to always learn and spread that knowledge to others, is a way of spreading hope.
Art and music are wonderful ways of looking at self-expression.
I came across artist Kadir Nelson, whose work focuses on African American history and culture. His work has been featured on the covers of albums for Michael Jackson and Drake, and most recently he was a Caldecott Winner for Best Picture Book, The Undefeated. During the height of COVID-19, he spread hope through his amazing paintings. Please check out his work!
