The best decision I ever made was to join a sorority. I remember my excitement when I first opened up my bid from Alpha Chi Omega on Bid Day in the Fall of 2020. Over one year later, I am so grateful to be with a group of honest, loving, and strong women, my forever sisters.
As a sister of Alpha Chi Omega, I have not only developed long lasting friendships with sisters from all over the United States, but I have also developed the confidence and courage to go outside of my comfort zone to become more involved in different activities on campus.
This past Fall, I served as a recruiter and had the opportunity to recruit other strong women into our sorority. Being involved in the recruiting process is challenging, fun, and exciting. I was able to greet and speak with incoming freshman and sophomores who were interested in joining a sorority.
The recruitment process consists of four rounds:
Sisterhood, Philanthropy, Preference, and Bid Day.
As an only child, I now have many sisters!
We have travelled together. We are there for each other in good times and bad, and we push each other to be the best we can be every day.
We even have families within our big AXO family.
I am now a big sister to my amazing little who was my Bid Day buddy.
I love being a member of AXO and I am excited to see what the future holds for our chapter in 2022 and beyond!
