When I fall, I fall hard. I have been dedicated for the last few years to a true feeling of love, but unfortunately he ran out. My new love? A perfume I splurged on called PERFECT by Marc Jacobs.
I had been wearing LUNA by Penhaligon's of London, but it ran out. Selecting a perfume can be challenging because it is something that stays with you all day and evening....I guess kinda like a relationship.
What caught my interest at first was the sleek design of the bottle with a stack of colorful and playful charms as the top. It was fun and whimsical! What really sold me was the fragrance itself. It had just the right blend of sophisticated notes. I looked it up and the notes are as follows: Top is rhubarb and daffodils; the Heart is almond milk; the Base is cashmeran.
What I really love about Marc Jacobs and especially this fragrance is the meaning behind his designs. Although the fragrance is called Perfect, Jacobs says that it is not about achieving the ideal perfection, but about being accepting of yourself and all the great qualities you possess, important to remember for any relationship. Life is a work in progress.
