POWERED BY VEGETABLES



Today is #nationaleatyourvegetableday! I have been so busy lately. I try to make healthy choices at fast food restaurants on the go when I don't have the time to cook. I love salads. Many times I will grab a Cobb salad from Chick-fil-A with light balsamic vinaigrette.


I have discovered many great healthy recipes on great sites Goop and Choosing Balance. This weekend, I intend to try some of these recipes. I love to know exactly what ingredients I am putting into my food.


I learned from a nutritionist that my plate should be at least half vegetables every day. Eating vegetables is not only healthy, but they provide nutrients in order to keep your skin clear and your body in great shape.


My favorite vegetable are green beans! I have loved them since I was a kid. They contain Vitamin C, K, and Iron.
