To me, there is nothing in the world like the feeling I get after a long run!
I love to run to clear my mind. Today I ran 5 miles and did some sprints at the end of my run. It was hot, but I felt so good afterwards. Relaxed and mentally clear.
Exercising doesn’t have to be running. It can be as easy as walking or taking a hike! Just moving improves brain function and attention span. I have learned that exercising helps increase the neurotransmitters in the brain. When our neurotransmitters increase, we become happier, our moods improve for the better, and we become healthier individuals. I have also found that positive thinking during exercise helps me to think clearer for hours afterwards. Exercising can be fun, especially with a friend.
Fit any form of exercise into each day because any little bit helps to keep your brain happy and your body healthy.
