I recently wrote a blog about clothing and sustainability. Today after my class, I decided to do some summer cleaning and got stuff together for Thread Up and also developed a new Poshmark account.
A cool way of cleaning out your closet is to resell your clothes, instead of just getting rid of them. Apps like Poshmark, Depop, and threadUP, for example, bring communities of resellers together.
It's nice to step away from fast fashion, which contributes greenhouse gases that can impact our air and oceans.
As crazy as it sounds, I hope my clothes can bring joy to another owner at a fraction of the cost I paid, while we help the environment.
