I always laugh to myself each morning when I look across the street and see the small sign in my neighbor's yard. Today, it says Thursday.
Under normal circumstances it would seem strange to have a daily sign in your yard, but honestly during this pandemic, some days I have actually forgotten the day. It really is nice to have a reminder!
Today is just another day. Nothing big going on. Just a simple day of waking up, running, and doing classwork.
Every day, I try to do something positive to keep my spirits up during this continued unprecedented time, but I admit it’s hard. For anyone feeling the same way know you’re not alone.
I miss a few of the simple things I used to take for granted in the summer like going to a baseball game or to a movie with a group of friends.
I read somewhere that happiness doesn’t make us grateful, but being grateful makes us happy. Right now, I just continue to think of a couple things that I am grateful for each day and surprisingly soon the list grows.
