WHEN IN BALTIMORE

If you ever visit Baltimore make sure to put Hampden on your go-to list. It is an area of shops and restaurants mainly centered around West 36th Street in Baltimore. There are vintage shops, quaint restaurants, painted row homes, and a kitschy diner named Cafe Hon, where one could spend an hour just looking around at all of the quirky retro memorabilia and artwork.

Personally, I love to walk around and photograph the artwork and painted wall murals on the streets and grab a premium ice cream at Charmery on the corner. Check out the flavors Old Bay Caramel or Maryland Mud! Where else can you find Old Bay ice cream?!!

Every time I go, I always find something new to photograph and there is always a new flavor to try! If you happen to be in Baltimore in the spring don’t forget to check out HONfest in Hampden.

Get out that hairspray and feel like you are stepping into a John Waters film! If you visit in December, check out Miracle on 34th Street. Every house on the block is lit up and decorated to the nines for the holidays. It is quite the sight to see!
