WHEN IN THE HAMPTONS

I love the Hamptons. I have been going there since I was born because I have family there. Unfortunately, I was unable to go up last summer because of COVID restrictions, but because I am now fully vaccinated, I was able to go up again this summer. Thanks Pfizer!

There are so many things to do and places to see in The Hamptons, from Westhampton Beach, Easthampton, Southampton, Bridgehampton, Amagansett to as far out east in Montauk.

These are some of my favorites!

Let's start with Montauk, often called the end of the world because it is as far east as you can go. First stop is always Hampton Coffee of course. Seriously great coffee. There is usually a line, but worth the wait! Can't start any day without my French vanilla iced coffee! They have a location in Westhamton Beach that I go to all the time too.

For one of the best lobster lunches around try Duryea's Lobster Deck. Listed in Hamptons Magazine as one of the top places in the Hamptons I had to try it! Get there early because the line does get very long. Being the second one in line, I got a fantastic seat right next to the water on comfy white cushioned seats.

The seafood is so fresh and the portions are big! I got the one pound lobster because I am gluten free and can't eat the roll of a lobster roll, but the lobster rolls look delicious! Next time, I will try the lobster salad. It is definitely large enough for two people and looks amazing.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is great and the view and atmosphere can't be beat in Montauk, even on a cloudy day. Also, check out the stores outside of the restaurant for Duryea novelty items and foods to go.

Down from Duryea's is The Surf Lodge. Recently, there was a pink Marc Jacobs pop-up in the hotel. I loved it so much that I made my first Marc Jacobs purchase...The Tote Bag for school. Also, a perfect bag for weekend getaways and/or travel. It comes in multiple colors, but I chose the green.

The main village area of Montauk has many shops and some great food places as well. Sundae Donuts is adorable and the donuts look so good! Although nothing was gluten-free, I loved walking around inside the brightly colored donut shop. So cute!

Next up, a beautiful clothing shop called Wyldblue. Chanel, Prada and Louis Vuitton...this store has it all. Although I didn't purchase anything, it is always fun to look around and admire the many beautiful things at this store. One not to be missed.

Heading back in from Montauk before you hit East Hampton, are two really great restaurants, literally right across from each other. I have tried both. Lunch and Clam Bar both serve lobster rolls, clams, and muscles. I had a delicious lobster roll at Lunch and a lobster BLT on gluten free bread at Clam Bar, which was amazing. Try both! You won't be disappointed!

One of the best things about the Hamptons are the beautiful vegetable and flower stands along Montauk Highway. One of my favorites is Amber Waves in Amagansett.

Fresh vegetables and fruits. Chickens and roosters. An area to hang out with two tiny play homes for kids! I highly recommend stopping at Amber Waves. I have never seen such beautiful produce and flowers!

Easthampton, Southampton and Westhampton Beach have some of the best shopping too. Stores in Easthampton like Golden Goose, Stoney Clover Lane, Intermix, Gucci, and stores in Southampton like Love Shack Fancy, Hildreth's and J.McLaughlin make these two towns popular shopping destinations.

In Southampton, if you are in the mood for breakfast or lunch, The Golden Pear is great. Grab a seat outside because it is a great spot to people watch. If you want some amazing gelato try Sant Ambroeus or if cookies are more your thing, stop by Tate's cookies. The crispy chocolate chip cookies literally melt in your mouth. In Westhampton, Brunetti's has the best pizza and Shock Ice Cream has every flavor you can possibly think of.

One of my favorite places I discovered along the way was a driving range in Southampton called Southampton Driving Range. What an amazing place! There is a miniature golf course, driving range, batting cage, and food. At the driving range you can order food and there are monitors set up to let you know everything about your shot, from the ball speed to yardage. The great thing is it is open late! It was so much fun and I highly recommend it!

But one of my favorite things about the Hamptons are the beautiful beaches!
