If I have a mix that costs under $4 and tastes like a million bucks, what will my return on investment be?
Yes, today was a long afternoon consisting of many math problems. I like math, but sometimes struggle with the initial concepts. The satisfaction I get when I finally figure out any problems I’m struggling with is awesome! All I can say is never give up!
Many simple and compound interest problems later, I finally got to make the lemon pound cake mix that I had bought a few days ago, just in time for dessert!
The cake mix is gluten-free and uses only 3 ingredients. Yes, I could make from scratch, but sometimes mixes are so easy and taste great too. Don't forget to use the glaze which is only half cup of confectioners' sugar and 4 teaspoons of lemon juice!
I love this mix. The pound cake was delicious, especially paired with blueberries.
My return on investment? It tastes like a cross between a Krispy Kreme doughnut and the lemon loaf from Starbucks, and the best part is it’s gluten-free!
